Research project at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture (http://www.karch.dk)  and Danish Building and Urban Research (BY og BYG) (http://www.dbur.dk) in collaboration with Project Urban Regeneration Nørrebro Park Kvarter (http://www.yns.dk), Municipality of Copenhagen.

The project is now finished and this site is no longer updated.

 The site is still on the net as a documentation  and you can still use the Electronic Fairground as a meeting place.

link til fotosafari Photosafari for the children of the neighbourhood

Pupils from the fifth and sixth class at Havremarken and Hillerødgade School have participated in a photosafari. Fine, funny and ugly experiences had to be captured in photos. The point of the photosafari is to look at the neighbourhood with new eyes and explore the known. The result was exhibited at Hillerødgade School Monday the tenth of November 2002 , and both the exhibited as well as the rewarded photos can still be seen at this homepage

Sven’s experiences getting around in the neighbourhood does not just apply to wheel chair users but also to for example parents with perambulators, young with broken legs and elderly people with shopping trolleys. All age groups can temporarily or permanently get the same problems.
3D model af kvarteret

Digital 3D-model of the neighbourhood

The e-kvarter has created a 3-dimensional model of the Nørrebro Park area. It is in proportions similar to the City Town Hall´s mahogany model in scale 1: 1500 and will be worked up furthermore in collaboration with the inhabitants so that it can be used by the projects in the regeneration process. Look at pictures of the model and try flying over the model and land in the middle of Nørrebro Park .

Asminderødgade Asminderødgade

“The embellishment of Asminderødgade” is one of the projects, where the e-kvarter participates and uses the digital model. The purpose is to use the model as support for the project group, in debates about the interpretation of concrete suggestions and in the communication via the Internet. This work also involves experiments with different versions of the model

Smøgen The Passage by the Youth House

The project “Restoration of the passage between The Youth House and Aldi” or “The Passage” attracts a lot of attention because the passage is placed nest to the Youth House. Furthermore it is a place where many takes a short cut finding a place to park etc. The project contains detailed suggestions for the arrangement of the passage with pergola, green plants light etc.
